We are InDebted New Zealand Ltd (Company Registration Number 7686518) (InDebted NZ), a debt collection agency focused on customer experience and providing people with the tools they need to resolve their accounts. Your credit provider has appointed us to help you manage your loan and payments under it.

Hardship

We understand there may be times when your circumstances change unexpectedly. You may have lost your job, suffered an illness, been affected by a natural disaster or are experiencing a reduction in your income, for example. This may mean you are having trouble meeting your payment obligations under your credit contract. If so, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.

You can get free and confidential advice from the Building Financial Capability services offered by the Ministry of Social Development. These services help people, families and whānau to build their financial capability and resilience. You can also contact the free financial helpline MoneyTalks for confidential advice and connect to BFC services.

If you are unhappy with our services, it is important we hear from you so we can make things right.

We have an established complaint handling process committed to properly considering and resolving all complaints.

Our External Dispute Resolution Scheme

If you’re unhappy with our response or the progress of your complaint, you have free access to an external dispute resolution service and you can refer your complaint to the Commerce Commission, New Zealand. This is an externally-managed complaints resolution scheme of which InDebted New Zealand Ltd is a member.
