InDebted appoints new CEO and CFO to accelerate global growth

Former Glassdoor and Morgan Stanley executives Chris McNamara and Brendan Lee join the AI-native collections company from 1 October, after its strongest revenue year to date.
Sydney, Australia — 1 October 2026 — InDebted, the global AI-native collections infrastructure company, today announced the appointment of Chris McNamara as Chief Executive Officer and Brendan Lee as Chief Financial Officer, both effective 1 October 2026.
The appointments complete a CEO search that InDebted opened in April, when founder Josh Foreman moved from Chief Executive Officer into a dedicated Founder and Executive Director role. McNamara joins from Advanced Navigation, where he was Chief Revenue Officer and helped grow the company to unicorn status. Lee joins as CFO and arrives from Morgan Stanley, where he spent his career most recently as Managing Director and Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications for Australia and New Zealand.
Between them, McNamara and Lee bring almost five decades of combined leadership experience. A former management consultant and alum from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, McNamara's career spans go-to-market leadership roles across the United States, Europe and Australia, including as Chief Revenue Officer at the global HR platform Remote and at Glassdoor. Lee spent his career across some of the world's leading investment institutions, including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Group, and McKinsey & Company, most recently advising many of the region's largest technology companies on growth and capital markets strategy.
These appointments come at a defining point in InDebted's growth journey, with the business posting group revenue growth of 42% year-on-year. Together, they round out InDebted's executive team as the company operates across six regions and four core products spanning the collections lifecycle: Collect, Receive, Release and Comply.
"Chris and Brendan are exactly the calibre of operators I'd hoped we'd find," said Josh Foreman, Founder of InDebted. "Bringing them on is a genuine reflection of how far this business has come, and I'm confident they're the right team to lead it into its next chapter."
"InDebted has built agentic technology that runs across the entire collections lifecycle to disrupt a sector that hasn't seen innovation for years," said McNamara. "It's already redefining the collections experience for consumers and delivering a step-change in economic outcomes for our clients and I'm excited to help scale that impact further and faster."
"I've admired InDebted's progress for years and share Josh's vision for where the business could go," said Lee. "Taking on an operating role after a career in investment banking is a big shift, but the opportunity to help build a category-defining world class business out of Australia, with genuinely global reach, is one I couldn't pass up."
